On your first visit, you can expect to find a friendly and inviting multi-ethnic and multi-generational congregation of dynamic biblical believers. People will come as their real self and you should too! Some people will dress up, and some people will come business casual or semi-causal, but all are accepted for who they are.
Church service will start each Saturday at 11:00 am and will begin with spirit filled music and singing and proceed to segments involving prayer, scripture, children’s content, and the spoken Word (preaching).
Every first and third Saturday of the month there will be a lunch in the fellowship hall after service which you are invited to and it is a great safe way too meet new people and quickly become apart of our community.
Our Community
We are a community of believers who are a missionary focused extended family. The two most identifying factors of our group are 1) we engage in outward service and 2) we have inward nurturing.
We quickly forge relationships with each other, through our weekly programs, which produce creative and healthy bonds that enable us to reach out to others. In addition to small groups, prayer-meetings, and bible studies, and church functions, if you choose, to attend you will be invited to acts of service in the community including feeding the homeless, serving the disadvantaged populations around us, and visiting with seniors and people in need.
Solid Rock is both a community and a community builder. We believe the love of God is too good not to share!
Arrival/ Parking/ Public Transport
We are currently located at 3425 9th St. South Arlington, VA 22204. There is parking at the back of the building and ample additional parking on the surrounding streets.
Additionally, there is a public bus stop at the corner of Glebe and 9th street which is less than half a block from our front door.
